Tim Holtz Distress Crayons from Ranger are water-soluble pastels in very bright, vibrant colours with extra pigment. They are ideal for creating backgrounds, watercolours, sweeping effects and more. Thanks to the myriad of options they offer, the crayons are ideal for mixed media projects where several types of materials and techniques are combined. For example, you can use the crayons as handy markers on light and dark paper, canvas, wood and metal.

Just like other Distress products, the crayons react to water. Once you add water the pigment continues to react, for hours or even days. Colour directly on paper or other materials, mix with water and apply layers with Distress Inks or Stains for even more creative options. This set contains six Distress crayons in Distress colours and is also available in a few metallic varieties. The spectrum of products in the Tim Holtz Distress series all have unique properties and are available in the same colours, making them ideal for combining.
